Bloodfever-xs With Seduction in Mind Make Me Yours Black Silk The Name of the Wind-xs One Scream Away-xs

Here are a few recent additions to my ever-increasing TBR pile.

  • Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning – Urban Fantasy (Book 2 in her Fever series)
  • With Seduction in Mind by Laura Lee Guhrke – Historical Romance (Part of the Girl-Bachelor series)
  • Make Me Yours by Betina KrahnHistorical Romance (A Blaze Historical)
  • Black Lace by Judith Ivory – Historical Romance (A classic but one which I’ve never read. It was recently reissued by Avon)
  • The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss – Fantasy (I’ve had this one in my Amazon basket for a while now – finally caved and ordered it)
  • One Scream Away by Kate Brady – Romantic Suspense (I’m on a romantic suspense kick of late and this one sounds interesting)

Have you bought any new books recently?

Oh The Name of the Wind was amazing.

I’m on a book buying embargo until I move later this month. :-(

I still have the library in the meantime though.

I loved The Name of the Wind! I haven’t read any of the others, but I’m intending to read a couple of them. Nor have I bought any new books recently – very sad! LOL.

@M @Meghan
I’ve heard so many good things about The Name of the Wind that I had to see what all the fuss is about.

@Venus Vaughn Will you have more bookshelves to fill in your new abode?

I’ve had several friends wave The Name of the Wind at me. Plus side, the author is almost done with the second manuscript, which means more reading even after the first! Sweet. \o/

I have so many books like that in my basket….that I want. I’m going to have to move them all to my Shopping List before I order anything again, or I’m going to get a $400 bill. Oops.

I know, I’m also into instant gratification. The idea of the second book in the series being available soon is a definite plus!

I’m in TBR rehab. So, no. I do have the Gurhke book in my pile o’ books, though. The way my reading luck is going so far, I’m kind of scared to start it.

@Lusty Reader Hope it’s good!

@heidenkind TBR rehab – love it! I was in series rehab for a while there, but I succumbed to the lure of Karen Marie Moning.
