Here are some interesting tidbits with regard to a few of my favourite authors. Some of this may be known to you already but it was news to me.
The official title of Melissa Marr’s fourth fae book has been changed from Skin Starved to Radiant Shadows. It’s due out in April 2010. She’s also contracted to write two adult books for HarperCollins. The first is entitled Graveminder and is described as “Six Feet Under laced with ancient Irish evil and a dash of Faulkner”.
One of my favourite authors of contemporary romance is Kristan Higgins. According to her blog, her next book is called The Next Best Thing and is scheduled for release in February 2010.
Author Chelsea Cain has a new and much improved website. Her third thriller - Evil at Heart – will be out later this month and I can’t wait to read it!
Patricia Briggs was interviewed in a video clip for Borders Media to coincide with the release of Bone Crossed, the fourth book in her Mercedes Thompson series. The interview is already a few months old but I found it interesting.
Have a great weekend!

I hadn’t seen the Patricia Briggs video before. I loved when she was talking about her books, but the rambling about her horses was a little TMI.
I have Heartsick in my TBR pile. Katiebabs recommended it; it sounds awesome!
@heidenkind Yeah, I tuned out the bits about the horses. In general, I prefer video interviews to written ones. I guess I’m nosey. You can tell a lot more about a person from their voice, gestures and expressions than what they actually say. I loved the video clips on RomanceNovel.TV – when they still did them.
Chelsea Cain’s ‘Heartsick’ was one of my first reviews at Monkey Bear Reviews. Here’s the link, if you’re interested: http://www.monkeybearreviews.com/2009/04/15/review-heartsick-by-chelsea-cain-2007/
