It’s link time again.
David Pogue’s post Some E-Books Are More Equal Than Others provides yet another reason for me not to jump on the ebook bandwagon. Apparently, a clash with a publisher led to Amazon deleting books from customers’ Kindle accounts. These were books which had been bought and paid for! Although Amazon credited the money to the customers affected, it raises the question of ebook ownership.
In Museum Monday, Heidenkind is doing a series of posts on recommended museums to visit in the continental US. It’s a fabulous idea and I’ll definitely consult them before my next trip to America.
Amy Riley of the blog My Friend Amy is hosting the annual Book Blogger Appreciation Week, September 14-18. All book bloggers are invited to register and participate in a fun week of guest blog posts, daily blogging themes and contests. (Thanks to Mandi at Smexybooks for the heads up!)
Magdalen’s Cranky Reader’s Manifesto made me laugh but also made me think.
My mother is visiting, so I’m not sure how much time I’ll get to blog over the next few days. It will be one of two extremes: either I’ll be online constantly, or conspicuously absent from Blogland. At any rate, normal blogging business will resume by the end of next week.
Hope you enjoy the weekend!

Thanks for the link, Sarah. I’ll admit — I made myself think (and at 4 in the morning, to boot).
Thank you for the link, Sarah! I’m so glad you found that post useful.
I also really liked Magdalen’s post, especially the part about Regency characters saying “bloody.” That always makes me laugh when I see I see it in a romance novel.
@Magdalen @heidenkind No problem. Thanks for the interesting posts!
